the girl with the orange scarf

I love reading (or at least entertaining books that is). I remember being obsessed with the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld when I was younger, the plot was just too exciting. Then high school came and they made us read books that I personally didn't enjoy: The Color of Water, The Bean Trees, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court…and the list goes on. Okay, sure, those books might be philosophically and analytically appropriate but I did not enjoy reading them! Most of them were a bore; I did enjoy a select few. Anyways, I've had some time over winter break so I decided to take a trip to the library and start reading again! Here are some of the books I checked out:
-The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold (I wanted to read the book before watching the film)
-L.A. Candy and Sweet Little Lies by Lauren Conrad
-Mistwood and Nightspell by Leah Cypess

I finished reading The Lovely Bones and it really is something different, but I liked it.
